Pregnancy Testing and Results at 11 Days Past Ovulation (DPO)
Hi my name is Sarah. I’m new on here. This is hopefully going to be my third pregnancy but I’m a little bit confused and uncertain about what’s going on. On Monday and Tuesday morning which was 8 and 9 dpo I took pregnancy tests on the cheap ones from Walmart and they both showed a very faint line. Well this morning I’m 11 dpo still no sign of AF and I tested and got a bfn. Could I still be pregnant? I’m 11 DPO and my OB says it’s not “over” until it’s over. Meaning, I still have a chance at coming up...
Understanding Early Testing Results
11 dpo is still early. My doctor said to wait until 14 dpo until testing. It’s hard because so many folks on this page have gotten their BFP’s early but they’re the lucky ones and not necessarily the norm. There’s also a lot of people who don’t get it until their missed AF. Was wondering if anyone has been negative at 11 then positive on 12?
Testing Strategies and Community Advice
I find at these early days your afternoon or evening urine is better than FMU for a positive result. If you are looking for clarity, try the red dye FRER. I took a first response test this morning it was a bfn and I’m 11 dpo today, but I see a line in both of those earlier tests. I’m wondering if maybe I should just wait a little bit longer?? I’m sooo confused and I don’t wanna say anything to the hubs until there’s a more visible line.

- Long-term Outlook: With my first pregnancy my line was kinda faint to be at 20DPO but a positive was a positive!
