Patient Policies and Financial Information
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
In order to ensure that every patient has fair access to schedule a timely appointment, we have adopted the following policy for last minute cancellations and no shows. For non-emergent circumstances, we require at least 2 business days notice of cancellation for routine appointments. Failure to cancel your appointment in a timely manner will result in the following payment prior to rescheduling:
- $50 late cancellation fee
- $100 no show fee
- $25 late cancellation or no show fee for appointments with our esthetician for spa services.
Insurance and Payments
After much consideration we have decided to terminate our contracts with all insurance carriers. Please understand that when you use an out-of-network provider, your insurance carrier can penalize you, resulting in more out-of-pocket expenses. Typically, elective cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance plans. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash. Additionally, our office is pleased to accept CareCredit®, a low-interest monthly payment plan.
Emergencies
Should you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1 or report to the emergency room at the hospital in your area. Dr. Thompson may be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the event of an emergency by contacting our regular office telephone number and holding for the after-hours answering service operator.
