The abortion pill, also known as medication abortion, is a course of 2 medications over a 48 hr period. The first pill, mifepristone, stops the pregnancy from developing, while the second, misoprostol, helps the uterus empty. We offer the abortion pill in-clinic until 11 weeks 0 days gestation. Additionally, we are pleased to offer abortion pills by mail to qualifying patients in Michigan.
Abortion Pills by Mail
No clinic visit needed for this service; you can meet with your doctor virtually and receive your medications via FedEx 2-day express shipping. The cost is $400, or as low as $225 if you qualify for financial aid. To be eligible, patients must be at least 18 years old, under 11 weeks pregnant, have a valid government ID, and a Michigan mailing address. Your package includes:

Surgical Abortion Procedures
Surgical abortion is safe, quick, and provides immediate relief from pregnancy symptoms. You can have a surgical abortion from 6-24 weeks of pregnancy. The specific method used depends on the stage of gestation:
- Vacuum Aspiration: This safe and simple procedure is performed between 6 and 12 weeks after your last menstrual period and takes about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Dilation and Evacuation (D&E): For women in their second trimester, between 12 and 24 weeks pregnant, this procedure involves softening or dilating the cervix.
Our all-inclusive fee for abortion services covers the ultrasound, counseling, lab work, pre-op meds, the procedure with IV sedation, recovery care, and a check-up 2 to 3 weeks after the abortion.
