Our Stories: A Post-Abortion Process & Support Group
This safe and nonjudgmental group is designed for those who have received abortion(s) to confidentially connect with others who have gone through similar experiences. Whether you have thought about it for a while, have recently been feeling stuck, or are just beginning to think your experience through, this group is for you. This group is trans and non-binary inclusive.
Group Structure and Registration
The support and process psychotherapy group runs annually at the start of January. Eight consecutive meetings facilitated by a licensed psychotherapist are held on Thursdays from 7:00pm - 8:30pm on a HIPAA compliant video platform. Members are expected to attend all eight sessions. Space is limited and requires interview with the therapist prior to joining. The group will commence once enough members have registered.
For insurance information, note that the therapist is in-network with BC/BS PPO, Aetna, and UHC (no EAPs or Medicaid). Self-pay is also accepted. Email [email protected] or call 773-242-7276 for more information.
