We provide a range of Physiotherapy services aimed at managing and treating pelvic organ prolapse. These services include:
- Pelvic Floor Muscle Training: Our Physiotherapists use specific, individualised exercises and biofeedback to help women improve the strength and function of their pelvic floor muscles, which can help reduce the symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse.
- Bladder and Bowel Training: We offer customized programs to help women improve their bladder and bowel function. Our Physiotherapists use various techniques, including pelvic floor muscle training, to help women regain control.
- Manual Therapy: Our Physiotherapists provide hands-on therapy to improve the mobility of the pelvic floor muscles and surrounding structures. This can help alleviate pain and discomfort associated with pelvic organ prolapse.

A Pessary is a medical device that is inserted into the vagina to support the pelvic organs and alleviate the symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse. Our Physiotherapists will assess your needs and recommend the appropriate type of Pessary for you. Our Physiotherapist have completed advanced training and post graduate studies in managing prolapse and fitting pessaries.
Management of Pelvic Pain and Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP)
We understand that pelvic pain can be frustrating and affect your daily life, work, and relationships. Our range of women's health physiotherapy services are designed to help manage your pain and improve your overall quality of life. Our approach to treatment focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying cause of your pelvic pain, rather than just treating the symptoms. We use techniques such as pelvic floor muscle training, manual therapy, and personalized exercise programs to help you find relief.
Furthermore, we offer a range of services to help individuals manage Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP). Our PGP services include assessment and diagnosis, where our physiotherapists perform a comprehensive assessment to identify the root cause of the PGP. Treatment includes manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue massage, joint mobilization, and stretching to alleviate pain and improve mobility.

The Role of Support Groups in Women’s Health
In the intricate tapestry of women’s health, support groups emerge as vibrant threads, weaving together experiences, wisdom, and compassion. These gatherings serve as sanctuaries where women can shed their armor and share their vulnerabilities. One of the most profound benefits of these groups is their ability to democratize health information. In an era where medical jargon can feel like a foreign language, support groups act as translators, breaking down complex concepts into digestible bits. Women’s health support groups are dynamic ecosystems where information flows freely, resilience is cultivated, and every shared story becomes a stepping stone towards collective empowerment and healing.
