Legacy Pregnancy Center in Sheridan, Wyoming is dedicated to helping women and men who are facing unplanned pregnancies. Legacy is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women and families facing unexpected or untimely pregnancies. The caring Medical and Program Staff are committed to providing our clients with evidence-based education they need to make informed pregnancy decisions, as well as realistic alternatives to abortion. Our Medical and Support Services
Legacy Pregnancy Center offers FREE and CONFIDENTIAL pregnancy services. Below is a summary of the care available at our clinic:
- Pregnancy Testing: You will leave a urine sample for your pregnancy test.
- Ultrasounds: If at least 6 weeks pregnant, you will be offered an ultrasound or schedule one later.
- STI Testing and Treatment: If pregnant, medical staff will offer testing for some sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Options Mentoring: Your Advocate will assist you in evaluating your options: Parenting, Adoption & Abortion.
- Abortion Pill Reversal: Learn about abortion pill reversal or call the 24/7 abortion pill reversal helpline.
Each Patient Advocate and Nurse is specially trained to serve women facing unplanned pregnancies, so rest assured that you will receive all the information that you need in a comfortable environment. Throughout your appointment, it is the goal of each Legacy staff member to care for you as a whole person, providing professional medical services and excellent advocacy and education.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
By calling 307-673-4757, you will initiate a meeting with a trained Patient Advocate, often the same or the next day. You will be welcomed into comfortable surroundings and offered a beverage.
- Medical staff will review your medical history.
- Following your positive pregnancy test, a Nurse Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will perform your ultrasound.
- The purpose of that ultrasound is to: – confirm your pregnancy (make sure you are actually pregnant), – verify if the pregnancy is growing in the uterus, – tell you how far along you are, and to – determine the presence of a fetal heartbeat.
- You will receive other information about the parenting classes and programs we offer and will leave with information and referrals regarding resources you may need.
Note: your appointment date and time is not confirmed until we contact you. All information shared by you during your relationship as a client with the center and its representatives will be kept in the strictest confidence except as required by law.
Legacy Pregnancy Center Annual Fundraiser
Held the 2nd Thursday of November, the annual Gala is our biggest fundraiser. Join the Legacy Pregnancy Center on Thursday, 11/9/2023, at 7:00pm for their annual fundraiser with special guest, Jennifer Maggio, CEO of The Life of a Single Mom.
Jennifer Maggio is an award-winning author and speaker, whose personal journey through homelessness, abuse, and multiple teen pregnancies is leaving audiences around the globe riveted. At 19, Maggio was pregnant for the fourth time, living in government housing on food stamps and welfare. She shares with great openness her pain, mistakes, and journey to find hope in Christ. She left her corporate successes behind to launch a global initiative to see single moms living a life of total freedom from financial failures, parenting woes, and emotional issues. Her passion is contagious and her story has been used to inspire thousands around the globe.
Designed to expand Legacy’s donor base, the Gala follows a Table Host model in which hosts prayerfully invite guests who are interested in Legacy’s vision and long-term partnership. Tickets/tables are not sold and the event is generously underwritten. With the desire to honor God in all our practices, including fundraising, our Legacy team initiated training through Life Steward Ministries in 2010 and has experienced God’s presence and increase by diligently following this model.
