In Hurstville, Wollongong, Gosford, and Newcastle, we do termination from 6 to 14 weeks. Contraception and IUD Services
Gynaecology Centres Australia provides expert IUD insertion and removal services for patients who have already obtained their IUD from their GP or pharmacy. Our proceduralists focus solely on the safe, comfortable placement or removal of both hormonal and non-hormonal (copper) devices. If you’re considering an IUD, your GP can help you choose the most suitable option before booking your appointment with us for insertion. Furthermore, Family Planning Australia offers comprehensive contraception options, including IUD and Implant insertions.
Vasectomy Services
Our vasectomy services are performed by our experienced vasectomy proceduralist at our Wollongong, NSW clinic. This relatively quick, outpatient procedure offers a permanent form of contraception for men who have completed their families or are certain about their decision. We prioritise patient comfort, privacy, and clear post-procedure guidance to ensure a smooth recovery.
Clinic Accessibility and Telehealth
If you are unable to attend one of our clinics in person, Family Planning Australia is also able to offer a range of reproductive and sexual health services or pregnancy counselling treatment options through telehealth. We welcome all women in NSW, including international students, backpackers, seasonal workers, and those without Medicare. If you require an interpreter to be present during your consultation, please advise the receptionist.
