This September 28, International Safe Abortion Day, we unite in hashtag #AbortionSolidarity. Across Asia Pacific and the world, we come together to demand safe, legal, stigma-free, and accessible abortion for all.
Safe Abortion as a Fundamental Right
Safe abortion is essential healthcare, a human right, and a cornerstone of gender equality and justice. Yet many still face criminalisation, disinformation, stigma, and barriers to access, especially young people, queer and trans communities, Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, sex workers, migrants, and those living in poverty or crisis.

To support this cause, we are excited to share our Safe Abortion Day Social Media Toolkit, jointly developed with the Asia Safe Abortion Partnership @safeabortion_asap (ASAP).
