Comprehensive Support Services and Material Resources for Pregnancy in Virginia
The Pregnancy Support Center of Southisde Virginia serves the counties of Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway and Prince Edward with our main office being in Farmville and satellite offices in the counties of Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham and Charlotte. With an unplanned pregnancy, many women and men experience a range of emotions and may feel overwhelmed by decisions they face. They don’t have to face them alone. We are here to offer support.
Our Mission and Vision
OUR MISSION: The Pregnancy Support Center of Southside Virginia provides hope in Jesus Christ to those impacted by pregnancy through peer-counseling and education, limited-obstetric ultrasound, and material services. OUR VISION: Our vision is to support and equip persons impacted by pregnancy with HOPE. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with committed, well-trained volunteers to carry on the ministry.
Services and Patient Advocacy
Our dedicated and trained staff and advocates listen to and support our clients. They help them explore their options. All of our services are confidential and free of charge. We offer prenatal and infant care, parenting classes, and post-abortion support plus more. However, we do not provide or refer for abortions.

Community Engagement: The World’s Largest Baby Shower
The Journey radio station listeners donate nearly 900 items for Virginia pregnancy centers. Listeners of the Liberty University-owned radio station The Journey donated more than 880 items to pregnancy centers around the Commonwealth last month as part of the station’s annual “World’s Largest Baby Shower” campaign, supporting young families’ needs in a tangible way. The donations were made by purchasing items listed on different organizations’ registries, which included baby clothes, diapers, blankets, bottles, and other related items.

The organizations were the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center (Lynchburg), Blue Ridge Women’s Center (Roanoke), Lifespring Pregnancy Center (Charlottesville), The Keim Centers (Tidewater), Pregnancy Help Center (Chesterfield), or the The Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond.
