Hi, I’m Brianna Battles. I’m an athlete, coach, CEO and mother. Even as a lifelong athlete and career strength and conditioning coach, it wasn't until I became a mom that I realized the significant gap in support and resources for female athletes during pregnancy and postpartum.
The Mission for Female Athletes
I’m committed to helping women pursue a lifetime of athleticism through my business ventures, lifestyle and community. As the Founder of Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism and a certified strength & conditioning coach with over 20 years of experience, I’ve equipped thousands of coaches worldwide to better support female athletes through all life stages. Ultimately, the most effective way to address this disparity is by educating coaches with the knowledge and tools they need to serve this population.
Professional Certification and Coaching Strategies
To achieve this goal, we offer a specialized path to become a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach. Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism™ is an online certification course that will provide you the coaching strategies and training approach for pregnant + postpartum athletes. It is evidence based, self paced and the only certification that focuses on pregnancy and postpartum fitness considerations across a variety of sports, fitness and abilities.
You can watch the free training and learn how to go beyond exercise modifications and generic guidelines. During this free training I’ll address “why this isn’t a special population and what the medical and fitness communities get wrong about exercise during these seasons.
