Top of Texas Republican Women Donate to Pampa Pregnancy Support Center
On Wednesday, May 22, the Top of Texas Republican Women presented a check to the Pregnancy Support Center in Pampa, a charitable donation that directly benefits the operation of the beloved and crucial non-profit establishment. Regarding the contribution, Monica Galloway, Director of the Pregnancy Support Center said, “It’s an amazing and generous gift.”
Mission and Community Impact
The center relies heavily on local partnerships to fulfill its goals. As Galloway noted, “We are here because of groups like this who support us. It’s about community, about life and meeting the needs of the clients that come through our door and because of donations like this, we’re able to do that.”
History and Core Services
The organization has a long history of serving the region. After moving to Pampa in 1991, Kathryn Green founded the Pregnancy Support Center and gave the community’s most vulnerable citizens a safe place to turn to for support and guidance. Today, the Pregnancy Support Center and Hope House Maternity Home provides free and confidential services to those in need, from free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds to emotional support and lay counseling.

The Founder’s Legacy
Even though Green was able to help change the lives of many folks over the years, she certainly doesn’t want the credit. “God orchestrated it-it wasn’t anything I did,” she humbly said. Green has since retired from the Pregnancy Support Center, but she still remains actively involved and her presence and advice is always warmly welcomed. Highlighting her dedication, Galloway said, “For her to still be here and involved, it says a lot about her commitment.”
