Hatha Yoga: Aligning Body, Mind, and Spirit
The practice of Hatha Yoga is one of the oldest text and often define as the umbrella term for all “Yoga” practices. Hatha practice are designed to align and calm your body, mind and spirit.
The Meaning and Philosophy
The word “Ha” represents the Sun and “Tha” the moon. In the simplest terms, the Hatha Yoga aims to unite or to join both energies together.
Core Components of the Practice
The Yoga practice will include the breathing known as pranayama, the postures known as asana, and the moment of stillness will lead into forms or stages of meditation or to rest in Shavasana (relaxation).
