The compassionate and experienced San Antonio OBGYNs at Women’s Health Institute have created a destination for women’s healthcare. We believe in providing care for every age and stage, because we know every woman needs comprehensive care throughout her life. Whether you need an annual well-woman exam or care for a routine or high-risk pregnancy, our team is here for you. Similarly, at AHA Women’s Health in Lincoln Park, MI, our caring and compassionate healthcare providers “treat each patient as if she were the only one.”
Decades of Combined Experience
When it comes to your health, partnering with an experienced OBGYN is key. Receiving care from a Women’s Health Institute doctor means that you’ll benefit from our entire group’s decades of collective experience. For instance, Barbara Ann Hannah, M.D., has practiced obstetrics and gynecology for twenty-two years. “Dr. Bobbi” as she is affectionately known to her patients has delivered thousands of babies and performed countless gynecological surgeries. Our San Antonio OBGYNs are your partners in women’s healthcare and we look forward to guiding you on the path to lifelong wellness.
A Variety of Specialties and Services
Each woman has unique healthcare needs and goals. Our clinics offer specialties that range from routine and high-risk obstetrics to gynecology and gynecologic surgery. To help women feel their best, our gynecologists provide annual exams, minimally invasive surgery and treatment for gynecological conditions. We also offer specialized care that ranges from adolescent gynecology to menopause management. Below is an overview of the providers and locations available to serve you:

Obstetrics and Prenatal Care
If pregnancy is in your plans, we’re here for you. Our obstetricians can provide care for routine and high-risk pregnancies. You’ll have a caring and supportive healthcare partner by your side so that you can welcome a healthy baby. It is important to note that prenatal testing is essential to check on the health of your developing baby. While prenatal testing is not a must, it is very important as it helps you to identify common genetic disorders for better planning.
Navigating Hormonal Changes
Just like during puberty, women’s bodies go through many hormonal changes as they get older. From night sweats to mood swings, these symptoms could be a sign of perimenopause. Dr. Hannah has a special interest in the menopausal patient, affectionately calling these ladies her “pause” girls. She believes that “Menopause is a natural transition in a woman’s life and I want her to continue into that stage feeling vibrant and confident.” For some patients, enhanced exercise and nutritional support can be beneficial while others may need medical therapy.
Patient Education and Wellness
“The education of patients is an important component of what I do. There is an overwhelming amount of misinformation out there so I want patients to be well informed as they make medical decisions,” says Dr. Bobbi. Good health is not only physical wellness, but also includes mental, spiritual & emotional wellbeing. We are interested in all facets of our patients and offer the most comprehensive resources to help every patient become the best she can be!
