Revolution UK: HIV and Sexual Health Support Services
Revolution is a free, confidential and professional non-clinical HIV & Sexual Health support service. Revolution provides HIV specialist advice, support and information to all residents of Lancashire, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen living with or affected by HIV. The service aims to enable each person to manage their diagnosis and to reach their goals.
Comprehensive HIV Support and Care
Our Key Workers work closely with the Sexual Health Nursing Teams across the three local authourities, offering a seamless package of care to anybody living with or affected by HIV. Whether you are recently diagnosed or have been living with HIV for a long time, and have lots of questions or you just need somebody to talk to, we are here to help. It is a free and confidential service.
We recognise the issues facing those living with and affected by HIV, we see the impact on individuals and communities. To assist our users, we provide the following:
- Dedicated one to one support
- Counselling (person centered, CBT, Solution Focused)
- Complementary Therapies
- Group and peer support
- Complete assessments to find out what your needs are
- Referrals to connect you with other people and services
Outreach and Prevention: Meet Patricia
Meet Patricia: Patricia is the Revolution event’s vehicle. Boasting a fully clinical space, Patricia can be found in all areas of Lancashire, offering HIV and Sexual Health Awareness, Testing and vital information. She provides access to HIV Prevention tools such free condoms, PrEP and information on U=U. Patricia can be found at all public events in Lancashire, Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool, as well as pop up events facilitated by the Revolution Teams, throughout the year.
Drug, Alcohol, and Specialist Support
The organization also facilitates Drug and Alcohol Support through various channels, including Horizon - Alcohol, Drugs and Sexual Health Support. Key areas of focus include:

Training and Awareness
We will fight HIV Stigma in all its forms. Our Training and Awareness programs include Beyond the Label - HIV Stigma Training and the Renaissance Training School. We also provide a Postal Condom Service and Long Time No Syphilis awareness initiatives.
