A ribbon-cutting and tour were held for the new Health First Viera Hospital Labor and Delivery Unit. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in the main lobby of Viera Hospital to mark the opening of the facility. The new Health First Viera Hospital Labor and Delivery Unit is about to open to patients.
State-of-the-Art Maternity Care
The 14 large birth suites are designed for patients to receive all of their care in a single room, including labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum phases, during their stay. Final preparation work is continuing at the new Health First Viera Hospital Labor and Delivery Unit. Terry Forde, the new CEO and president of Health First, and Dr. Vanessa Dance, a Health First OB-GYN, spoke at the ribbon-cutting event to celebrate this opening.
