The Medication Abortion Process
We want to be sure you are a good candidate for medical abortion. To begin, the eligibility questions must be completed by the person who will use the pills. Eligible patients are at least 18 years old, under 11 weeks pregnant, have valid government ID, and a Michigan mailing address for delivery of medications. Once you complete our health history questions, upload an image of your valid ID, and submit payment, our medical staff will review your paperwork.
After reviewing your health history, one of our experienced doctors will contact you within 24-48 hours to schedule a video visit. Video visits typically take about 25 minutes. Your medications will be shipped immediately after your doctor’s visit, and packages will be shipped by FedEx 2-Day Express.
Cost and Service Inclusions
Our price for this service is $400, or as low as $225 if you qualify for financial aid. This price includes everything you need for a safe and successful abortion at home:

Medical Safety and Clinical Research
Regarding the efficacy of this method, abortion pills that patients got via telehealth and the mail are safe, a study finds. A study published in Nature Medicine looks at abortion pills prescribed via telehealth and provides more support for the FDA's assessment that medication abortion is safe and effective. Researchers examined the electronic medical records for more than 6,000 patients and found that the medication was effective – it ended the pregnancy without any additional follow-up care for 97.7% of patients. It was also found to be safe – 99.7% of abortions were not followed by any serious adverse events.
The providers typically prescribe two medications: mifepristone, which blocks a pregnancy hormone called progesterone, and misoprostol, which causes uterine contractions. Clinical follow-up occurs throughout the process to ensure patient symptoms are managed and the medications were received and taken correctly.
