Women's diagnostic care that puts you at the center combines advanced technology with clinical expertise. The Star and Barry Tobias Women’s Health Center provides a full range of care in a setting designed with your comfort in mind, including heated robes and private changing rooms. The center has all the services you need for your breast and bone health, including screenings, diagnostics, and, if needed, an on-site breast surgeon.
Specialized Imaging Services
- Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) or 3-D mammography
- Bone densitometry or DEXA scan
- Breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
- Needle or wire localization
- High risk breast cancer program
Patient Support and Inclusivity
Our highly experienced and well-trained staff provide comfort, support and understanding along with the highest quality medical services. We are an ally to our LGBTQIA+ patients; we ask all of our patients for their pronouns and want to be respectful to all patients needing our care, regardless of how they identify. Our patients’ security and confidentiality are of greatest importance to us, and all of our patient records are confidential.
Each patient meets one-on-one with a Patient Advocate to discuss their decision, support system, birth control options and to answer any questions they might have. For those undergoing specific procedures, you will be monitored by a nurse and sent home when you meet the discharge criteria.
