Grand opening of the Helen Caloggero Women’s and Family Center
St. Jude Neighborhood Health is thrilled to announce that St. Joseph Neighborhood Health – Women’s Health is now open! Our new Women’s Health Clinic is located on the 3rd floor of the new Helen Caloggero Women’s and Family Center and will provide OB/GYN services for our community! Mission and Impact
Through our faith-based centers, we improve the health and well-being of low-income persons in the communities we serve. St. Jude Neighborhood Health caregivers are excited to help fulfill your OB/GYN needs at our new site. The Helen Caloggero Women’s and Family Center was constructed on land owned by St. Joseph Hospital.
Building Directory and Services
The facility features various services distributed across its floors:
- Ground Floor (2025): Heritage will also open an Urgent Care on the ground floor in 2025.
- First Floor: On the first floor, you can find Blue Bowl, a Providence Conference Room, and a private imaging center (coming soon).
- Second Floor (2025): Additionally, Quest is also expected to open a laboratory office on the 2nd floor 2025.
- Third Floor: On the 3rd floor, along with our suite, is a private practice ophthalmology office, Coastal Vision, and St. Joseph Heritage’s OB/GYN suite.
- Fourth Floor: The hospital’s Women’s Services will be relocated to the 4th floor of the new building, including the Mother Baby Assessment Center.
Development and Funding
Our organization was given a one-time capital construction and equipment grant by St. Joseph Hospital, which covered most of the cost of building out our suite and purchasing needed equipment and furniture. This grant completed the hospital’s seven-year obligation for community investment that resulted from the merger of St. Joseph Health System and Providence Health System. We were also fortunate to receive donations from private donors, including a large gift covering the cost of the beautiful hand painted mural in the clinic.
