Gynecology and Wellness Services

At MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, our gynecology specialists coordinate care with your primary care physician to make sure you receive the best care over the long term. Our services include:

Maternity and Obstetric Care
We offer a complete list of maternity services, including pregnancy care, delivery, and postpartum care for expectant families. For generations, families have been delivering healthy babies at our hospital, and we are proud of our tradition of providing excellent care at such an important time. Our maternity services include specialists who treat and manage normal pregnancies, high-risk pregnancies, and a broad range of obstetrical conditions.
We support expectant parents' needs by offering a wide range of maternity services classes designed to help families prepare for the baby's arrival. These programs are designed with every family member in mind and include:

Reproductive Health and Specialty Care
Women’s reproductive health is at the core of our services, including a full range of gynecological testing, treatment, and Well-Woman Care; birth control; abortion services to 24 weeks; and a complete prenatal program. Since its founding in 1971 by Merle Hoffman, CHOICES has developed many other services to meet the needs of the expanding communities it serves, including LGBTQ and gender-nonconforming, teenagers, and seniors. All services are completely confidential for patients of all ages, with no parental or partner consent or notification needed for any of them.
Our programs include Counseling and HIV/STD Testing and Treatment and basic preventive care. What remains constant is the same commitment to our patients: to serve patients’ needs with compassion and understanding, with the highest level of skill and training, and to empower them with knowledge.
